In a simple answer, the various methods of advertising allow a business with products or services to get these announced, showcased and made attractive to the purchasing senses of their potential customers. The principles of advertising are effective in all cases while the application varies greatly.

Sometimes the product in a shop window won't effectively sell until you take it out of the box/packaging and display it that way. Sometimes the product is only properly understood when it is seen in use. Some advertising needs to focus on features, others on benefits and others simply on price. The combinations go on and on!

There are new territories to explore with new technology, methods and ideas. Many times you can create one advertising piece that can be used in many different ways (this is the smart way).
