Anyone can take a photo, right? |
PhotographyYes they can, and as mobile phones and cameras become smarter and more capable, the technology to take pictures (and video) is more and more accessible. So the physical act of 'taking' a picture is easier but the conscious decision to actually make a photograph remains just as difficult. The main challenge lies in the creative/artistic understanding and approach to the exercise. You will probably be all too aware of the great success stories with the use of pictures submitted by the public for use in the general media. You will also be aware of the colourful flops where a picture has been posted that is definitely laking in technical quality and has in no way been cropped, cleaned, planned properly or presented professionally. One answer is to use the skills of a creative professional to help filter the many photographs that could be used to represent your business. Also you can have them take photos so that you get your images 'just right'. You can additionally receive some guidance and training to help more of your staff take a few simple steps to taking and making photographs themselves that would be of a standard one step higher (or more). Pictures certainly can communicate effectively and are well worth a thousand words! How can I help you?
